This is something that I drew up for the game and the comic of “Death Jr” but no it is not for the Bleedman “Grim Tales from Down Below” web comic. Though the similarity is uncanny, I am declining to comment on that subject.

I really did enjoy the comic and the game I hear was entertaining. In addition, I did spot the music video from MTV2 video mod.

The thought came to as when Death Sr. met Death Jr’s mom. The courtship would have been an interesting thing and I hope that there will be a comic coming out of that. A sort of a “How Dad met Mom” kind of title.

I see how the mom is in the game and comic, so I imagined her when she is young and in college kind of deal. She is this popular all around American girl. She is popular, but not unapproachable. A sweet beach blond kind of gal that everyone would like and get along with. The girl every guy would crush on, but not too threatening so every girl would lean on her shoulder for. The kind of girl that has everything going for her. She does not care what people think really, because of her self-confidence, but at the same time does not want to disappoint anyone who depend on her to get the job or school project accomplished.

She enjoys what every girl enjoys, sort of a Kim Possible kind of girl.

Then she meets Death… and I wonder what kind of adventure would bring these two together and so much in love? It must have been one those end of the world apocalyptic misadventures that has a lot of fantasy and action! Imagined the puns she has to endure like, “flirting with Death” or “dancing with Death” or other such things like “The Kiss of Death,” ect…
and for Death Sr. to fall in love?

He seems that he has fallen in love with her. In the comics; the love is so evident and still going strong. Therefore, with this in mind I drew this up… I hope you like, though it is a stray from the norm, sometimes I really like to go other avenues… just read the comic OK?
