nbrianblackberry did an number of character and story illos of and for Matt McCullar's stories involving a ratel/honey badger group of sisters who have a serious talent and love for music, and preforming it, and Trevor aka "Spotty" (wonder how he got that nick name?) who becomes their manager (and more over time) to form the music group "Fornax".
The country/culture the girls come form "says" that woman wears only two things around her neck; one is her engagement necklace (made from silver), the other is her wedding/marriage/formal matehood necklace (gold in nature). Pink already wear the silver one given to her by Trevor and, in this scene, he is presenting her with the gold necklace.
Very nicely done piece, in my opinion and I like it very much.

Always fun to see more Fornax stuff. You've got Pink's name down as "Pick" here, tho. It's always good to see when authors work out neat little details for a created culture like the Ratel's necklaces. Midnight's Zootopia-based story, "Safe Paws", has "old-school" canids using something called a "bonding bracelet", much the same idea as here. Quite important in the storyline even more so than here, as the cross-species factor changes things up. But it's those little, but oh so important touches that help to flesh out a world. Thanks for posting! Stubat
