Axolotl, all the way. They are by far the cutest, and neotenous animals are always a plus! I'd get one if it wasn't for the expense of getting a chiller, so therefore I will not only pressure you into getting one, but I will also live vicariously through your axolotl experience. :P

They are just so adorable. ;; But I also like things I can touch and hold. Frogs can hate me all they want, but at least I can hold them every once in a while. You're not really suppose too but still. ;c Then again I have a tank set up in my sisters room and I moved the fish out of there and into a bigger tank downstairs so I have a free semi-established tank.. Only the amonia levels are insane. Whoops. I'm so indecisive. ;_;
Is it really hot where you live or something? I love that they don't need a heater because I'm always afraid it'll explode on me.

Yeah the whole no touch/hold thing kinda gets me down about axolotls, but at least axolotls recognize people as opposed to frogs that don't really give a shit. As for the water, you could start slowly replacing it! What size tank is it?

And yeah, during summers here it gets as high as 115 outside. My house is kept warm (around 79/80 degrees) so bills don't get ungodly expensive. Unfortunately, axolotls are little princesses that prefer their water temperature in the 60s, so a chiller is the only option that I've found. Hah, and yeah heaters are scaryy.

As much as I like things that eat other things, the frogs wouldn't really do much other than just chillax waiting for food. The hairy thing could be so adorably ugly while it stares at you in the water and could swim around & shit.

Whenever I go to get birdfood I always look at other things for my birds and I'm like CLAY THEY DON'T NEED ANYTHING ELSE STOP LOOKING AT BIRD TOYS until I leave.

Bird food sucks because they go through it so fast. ]: I've gotta' get my birds eating more fruit but they're douchebags too and don't eat their fruits and vegetables. I give them dried papaya treats but I'm not sure if they're eating them. They are starting to eat the pellets in their food though so that's good.

 aru gave me the tip of cutting up fruits and vegetables really small for my budgies and they have started to test them out.

I keep getting moths in my birds food no matter what I seal it in. Ergh.
Yeah, Nico, my albino cockatiel, is just being stubborn. I tried eating them in front of her, praising her when she even 'nibbles' at it, cut them up small.. Nope. Hates them.

I keep all my stuff in the box I got my birds in, try keeping all your pet food in like...a big container or something?

That's strange..I cut up pieces of celery really tiny and they were picking the bits up and trying to chew them

Here in Europe they life in mountain-caves and such places...they are stand under "species conservation" so its forbidden to keep them as a pet ^^°
But...ohhh...i saw some of those in the zoo. They are so bizarr. i love them :D

axolotls are actually endangered and near extinction in the wild, but flourish in the pet trade. Mudpuppies are pretty awesome too.
