So, recently a friend of mine showed me a new closed species by a friend of theirs known as the Inkubii . The fact that those little guys are INK DEMONS immediately reminded me of my own mascot, my 'true persona', I suppose. With feelings of nostalgia I immediately had to go and do some sketches of my lovely little Bijuyo, my 'evil little art demon'. This is NOT about any similarities or anything negative, no, the Inkubii just reminded me of a beloved 'character' of mine whose been around for OVER A DECADE. The Bijuyo - a genderless spirit/demon of art who loves to draw, write, paint, and play trivial pranks - has had many, many designs of the years, this being the most recent. The Bijuyo has been my mascot in other places besides DA, of course, and used to be incorporated in my Youtube channel, back when I did Let's Plays.

It is a very special little thing to me and is the source of the blinking eye used as my avatar (Until I decide to get/create a better version or a more suitable avatar for the Bijuyo, it'll never change). So, have some silly sketches of my little love <3 Their ears and rather large mouth are very expressive, twisting and turning dramatically. Their full grin shows many sharp, ominous looking fangs, but it's actually fairly gentle. The top row of teeth even show when the mouth is closed, poking out prominently. When angered or feeling particular mischief - or just to freak someone out if they dislike someone - the Bijuyo's eyes can shift quickly, but gradually, from it's normally, cat-like yellow, to a much more menacing bloody red. This red can disappear with literally a blink of the their eyes, making some wonder if they'd seen the color change at all. It almost always carries it's 'magic' paint brush, which can shrink and grow or even change media to suit its purposes. In its native form, the paint brush is rather large and drips a fantastical rainbow ink or paint.

In ending of this (I'll add more stuff if I think of it), I would really like to thank the creator of the Inkubii (@Prince-Stolas:) for giving me such a feeling of nostalgia and making me want to draw the Bijuyo again. I haven't been inspired to draw it outside of stream material for quite some time, not to mention its fun to know the Bijuyo isn't alone in its status as an artistic spirit or demon <3
