"So whats it like to teach someone something, Siggy?" Terry asked as the two walked out of the small little mom and pop coffee shop into the brisk air of the city. "Well." Siggy started, the look on his face going from a calm rest to that of pure joy and enamor. "It's a wonderful and unique feeling really. You get to watch your student go from this....clueless and sometimes frightened person thats intimidated by the prospect of learning such a foreign concept, to this virtuoso that's on their way to being the master of their craft." Siggy said joyously, as if to be reminicing on students of past.
"Ahhhh, that sounds really awesome!" Terry said, a relentless smile on his face now as he listened to every word of his feline companion. "I bet it must make you feel really good, huh? To know you made that happen." He added. They walked in silence for a bit before the snow began to fall now, the feather-light flakes wafting around them in almost an entrancing dance. Terry looked up and around, being a frost drake he was thrilled to see the first signs that winter was settling above the metropolis he called home. "Its not knowing that -you- taught them what they know." The eclectic tiger said.
After a few more moments of silence filled with only the wind and their footsteps, Siggy looked over at Terry and said with the most genuine face of joy:
"Its knowing that you simply opened their eyes to a whole new world. A world not measured in what you have or what you know, simply by what you feel. In the end, most of my students end up making me the pupil."
