Holly is a riding horse, owned by the same person who owns the race horse. She is also part of the commission. This is her, she is smaller than the head of CD, seen here grazing in the field. ^^

lol So true. She kept hiding behind the big chestnut in the field with her. Luckily Splash is a sweety out of tack. XD Which reminds me, I should put up the pic I did of him. ^^
Yeah, the only refs I use are for the portraits. Sometimes if Im stuck for realistic poses I'll look round. I know refs are good but I seem to learn better without them. ^^;

^_^ Thank you. Yeah, she is a heavier type but we don't know what exactly. A mix-breed likely as she is just a hack.
^_^ Thank you, she is a pretty mare. That electric blue stuff on her legs, belly and tail is the light reflecting off the pencils I used when it scanned. ^^;
