Redesigned and newly-furred Bartholomäus and redesigned and newly-haired Brandur, featured in my first upload that actually has an artistic name, and not merely an organizational label. Is this good, is this bad, who knows--but in token of the conversations I've had about cinematic presence, I'm going to start angling my work towards that direction: stills from a movie, scenes from a play sort of style--as long as the characters are there, and the interest remains, I'll keep at it.
My most popular character at time of posting, Bartholomäus the Beast has been my icon and seeming identity for the best of what I can offer to the FA community. There's going to be more of him for sure!
Bartholomäus: A cursed beastman and prior permanent resident of a castle in the wilderness, he was born and raised to be a warrior hero until he was transformed by a vengeful wizard into a gargantuan monster. Freed from his prison by the nordic fire mage Brandur, the two joined together to defeat the evil sorcerer and rescue Bartholomäus father, Hrodgier. The two remained together, finding comfort in each others presence, sharing adventures as they seek to make Bartholomäus's bestial existence as worthwhile as any human's.
Brandur: A nordic-born mage from a mountain village, Brandur was found to possess magical aptitude at a young age, and went away from his home to pursue a life of training and study within an Arcane Seminary. Now an accomplished fire mage, he has been sent on many quests to learn more of the world, and complete a bestiary as his crowning achievement. Among his two greatest quests were saving the Seminary from destruction by Maalikar--a daemon he himself summoned and was manipulated by--as well as encountering and rescuing Bartholomäus--a cursed beastman--whom he has developed a close relationship with.

Many thanks Sharlin!! Just doing my best to provide for our monthly quota of musclebound beastmen! And yeah, I do rain more often than snow, and it suddenly came to me that waving the magical Smudge tool could create some sweet snow flurries, and it worked out in a way I'm definitely proud of!
Must acknowledge I just can't look at Bartholomäus standing like this without feeling deeply moved by his presence so..., with Brandur's permission..., there's something I need to do...
...Jey approaches to Bartholomäus, surrounds the beastman with both arms, and gives him a tight embrace...
"Your presence is inspiring, Bartholomäus... I just needed to tell you this and to tell you as well how lucky is Brandur for having you."
A Fav!! =^_^= I just had to do this .
