This is Huk, an arctic fox from the film noir style "Blacksad" comics; a superb series that all furry fans should definitely read. Huk is one of the more important characters in the story "Arctic Nation". While not many people would feel agreeable with his extreme political and social views, there is one frame in which he gazes upon his friend's stunning wife with beady eyes and a broad grin, clearly lusting after her. The lady actually obliges Huk's desires later on, but little does he know she has her own sinister agenda...

Huk's expression in that one frame was so striking to me that I absolutely had to replicate it in a simple sketch. I also had to show the face more fully, since the original frame only shows Huk's face in profile. I don't do the original image justice, but I'm glad I got the image down on paper all the same, so I could share it with my watchers.
Huk is the creation of Juan Diaz Canales whose work is published by Dark Horse Comics.
