Happy Brazil's Independence! Happy 7th of September!
The Brazilian independence from Portugal happened on 7th of September, and this day is considered to be a historical mark for our country. The problem is: people doesn't seen to care to much for it... At least not anymore, and I really can't blame them!
Literally, two days before this special date, the federal police found a apartment in the city of Salvador, filled with boxes and brief cases of stolen money. Money that could be invested in better education, hospitals, security... However, it fell in the cold hands of the worst of demons: corruption.
Despite all that, I still have faith in my country.
We CAN and I believe that we will overcome this situation! So God bless our homeland! God bless Brazil, and I hope for a better tomorrow.
