It also rather nicely reflects the new reality which I (and my nearest and dearest) now inhabit. Simply put, animal society was wiped out about five years ago by an event we call 'The Twilight'. But some of us are still here, scouring the rubble and remains of our homes, forging a new way of existence, and investigating the fall of our civilisation... and the mysterious and seemingly 'undead' animals which have arisen in its wake.
