Firefight went to his crew at the gate, where Lauren, Max, Lacetor, and Foresight were all getting together.
"So what's the assessment on the place?" he asked them
"We got a lot that'll live." Lauren said "We lost a couple too, and the majority are gonna have to be sent home."
"Makes sense." Lacetor said, "I took a look at those weapons. They're military, probably got off the black market."
"Man.." Max said to himself, "They're just holding this base together by strings now."
"It may be even less, guys." Firefight entered, "Dalton's given the order to push on till we find him."
"What!?" They looked at him in shock
"That's not even a good move!" Lacetor said, "They need reinforcements!"
"We are the reinforcements, Lacetor." Foresight said, "And we could do this all on our own. They don't even need to go out when we can get it done like that."
"We're here to help, not get things done." Lauren said as she looked to her, "We're here to help make sure they get the job done and prevent soldiers from dying.
"Yeah, just send us." Foresight said and rolled her eyes "Why not just send us, so we could kill them off without any Soldiers dying."
"That's not what we do!." Firefight growled "Get your ears cleaned and your head straight. We here, for them; not just to kill hostiles."
"What ever you say, Firefight." She said and walked away "I'm gonna to check things around here."
Firefight watched her leave, and then sighed to himself "I use to think Shadow was a piece of work, at least she's mainly talk."
"Just let me know when we're leaving." Lacetor said "I'm gonna check our supply. Make sure we got enough."
"Just be ready," Firefight said "We're heading out tomorrow."
