I was walking through the Brazilian HQ's memorial hall one day when I bumped into Vincent. He was staring at a life-size model of this individual. Her name was Constantina, one of Sector 1404's greatest allies.

Before the world of humans was the world of giants. The Earth was small and it's inhabitants huge. But for an unknown reason, their time of ruling was short and they slowly disappeared. Some perished, some vanished... and some went dormant.

Constantina was a 150-foot-long serpentine Matile, the last remaining survivor of her ancient kind. She carved the roads and paths of Sector 1404 as we know today with the massive length of her body. She was a part of the team of oddballs who made Sector 1404 possible, turning it from schematics drawn on animal hide into a reality. We all know Vincent's the founder, but he didn't build everything alone. Sector 1404 took two centuries to finish. With Vincent as manager, despite her rank and prowess, Constantina only wanted to be a guardian... one of several at the time. She was in fact an ancient deity with special powers granted to her by the divine. The territory she was assigned to were the lowlands of South America as Quetzalcoatl already guarded the highlands.

Mysteriously after Sector 1404's completion however... Constantina was nowhere to be found. Perhaps her time with Vincent and the rest had come to an end. Maybe the divine forces needed her strength and guidance elsewhere. No one really knew what happened to her... until 600 years later.

In July 2006, a tsunami had unearthed something on the shorelines of what was now called India. A news broadcasting report showed the remains of Constantina. Buried under the Indians' feet for centuries was her fossilized body. Till today her death remains one of Sector 1404's greatest mysteries.
