He seems pretty happy with his new shape. As sweet as the cuddly toy looks, one could almost say a child lies there happy with his plush cougar.

Er scheint recht zufrieden mit seinem neuen Aussehen zu sein. So süß wie der das Plüschtier anschaut, könnte man fast sagen ein Kind liegt dort glücklich mit seinem Plüsch Puma.

I hope the cougar still has his claws. Unfortunately, you can't see this very well on most videos. Unfortunately, declawing is very common for big cats kept as pets. A cat without claws is no longer a cat.

Ich hoffe der Puma hat noch seine Krallen. Leider kann man das auf den meisten Videos sehr schlecht sehen. Leider ist das Entkrallen bei großen Katzen, welche als Haustier gehalten werden, sehr weit verbreitet. Ein Katze ohne Krallen, ist keine Katze mehr.

Can't help but reflect on a slight plot point from the most recent Planet of the Apes film. (So...spoilers.) Main baddie, fighting against the unstoppable approach of a crippling disease, picks up a child's toy in a moment of confusion. Said toy is owned by an infected child. The toy, being so personally owned, is a carrier. By making contact, the bad guy gets infected by the very disease he is warring over. Kind of reflects an old world scenario where the American army intentionally offered peace treaty blanket aid to some rather hard to defeat American Indians. Only the blankets were infected with a horrible disease, thus weakening the Indians to a nearly deathly state, insuring the one sided victory.

The outcomes are extremely different, as I suspect kitty won't be trying to hide in an alcoholic slumper of emotional wreckage. If transformation is a disease, this is most certainly one of the better options.

So this is what they mean by letting the cat out.
