Winter is my favourite season of the year. I love wrapping up warm to fight the cold, like living in a little coccoon of warmth while you know it's freezing outside of it. I love staying by a fire and having more of a reason to drink hot chocolate is never a bad thing. Snow is always a beautiful thing to look at, I just wish it snowed more here in the eastern part of the UK, and with the shorter days it gives you time to observe gorgeous sunsets more easily. With all of that combined it's not too hard to see why I love winter so much.
When I saw
vekke's previous atmospheric pieces I thought she would be the perfect person to capture the essence of winter and what I love about it, and I think she has drawn this piece spectacularly. I honestly couldn't be more happy with it. I was watching her draw it during a stream and every time I thought it looked amazing she just kept making it better and better. I can't thank her enough for such a wonderful piece of art.
