Mary is a mortal avatar, but her goddess is so new and her domain so minor, she is the head priest as well.

She is pretty busy because of this. She handles the bookkeeping, internal issues, has to do weekly worship rituals, and guide outgoing worshippers on 'quests'. She also takes a hand in dealing with the temple's orphanage. Being a temple of Chaotic Good thievery, they are very big on charity and Mary is very big on helping out.

She doesn't have enough time to be a true foster mother, but Miss Mary always takes time out of her day to help teach, read to the orphans, or even just help with meals.

Of course, the orphans grow up with a healthy love of giant boobies...
