WHOAHHHH no it looks REALLY good! I missed seeing your colored work and I love this stylization on Spike, damn! Also great job with the little details on that collar too, so smooth and the spikes (heh) are so consistent there. I have such trouble doin' that.

Ah, thank you! Honestly, I feel like I half-arsed a lot of this since my current drawing setup is so far from optimal (using a laptop and awkwardly balancing my tablet on my lap, which takes some getting used to), so I'm glad it didn't actually come out half-arsed, ahah. XD

Hopefully will be posting more, though! I have so many ideas, but I keep struggling to actually get anything drawn.

No problem! Oh man I had that setup for a while and it's really difficult to work in, best of luck and hopefully you'll get a better one in the future!

Hopefully you'll get more motivation soon, maybe knowing how awesome this is might help! You should deffo post some doodles and sketches if you ever make em too.

Bah. "Not very good" is quite subjective, as I think this looks wonderful.

You capture that look and feel of having that 'meh' type of expression that someone will have on a lazy morning.

Your distinct art style shows through beautifully, really making the character pop on the screen.
Just further affirmation that Spike is one of my favorite characters to see art of. ^_^

Hahah, I really don't draw enough art of Spike. XD Whenever somebody wants to draw him, I'm reminded how extremely little there is to use as reference. I really need to do an actual ref sheet one of these days, but those are always a pain. >_>

*laughs* Well, I certainly would never complain about seeing more art of Spike.

Ref sheets are often difficult, especially if certain features to the character's look might change over time.
But when people want to draw him, you should definitely have a preferred reference for them to go off off. ^_^
