Clinchfield No.1 was originally built in 1882 for the Columbus, Chicago, & Indiana Central Railway.
It is my understanding that this locomotive it entirely complete, though it does have some significant mechanical issues. The typical boiler age and an excessively worn R-3 (Right side, wheel 3) wheel box liner. It last was operated in 1984
