So I found that a lot of the time when I start out a sketch, I don’t follow the circle well enough, or i feel unsure about it. So I took some art I saw and used it as a base- looked at it and saw how someone’s sketch would have started off, just making the circle out of the head with the construction lines, then scrapping that layer and doing my own thing.

I also literally googled “how to draw wolf ears” and my god it’s so much easier to draw them after seeing examples of different angles. Really happy with this, and managed to draw this pretty quickly as well! Feeling much more comfortable with these more sideways angles, but front-facing stuff gives me a lot of trouble in terms of just beginning the sketch.
