After Lilly being missing for a few days, Sonic becomes increasingly anxious about her well-being, and over the period of two days, tries many times to confront Eggman to force him to tell him where she is but constantly finds himself getting mercilessly attacked by Eggman's security.

When Sonic visits Eggman a final time, he notices a strange looking female mobian running towards him and soon gets a shock as the mobian hugs him and kisses his muzzle multiple times. Sonic feels embarrassed about the attention and asks who she was. The mobian answers by saying that she's Lilly and Sonic doesn't believe her...

Lilly makes a soft expression and looks into Sonic's eyes, asking him to trust her and saying that it's really her and that Eggman had used his machine on her, which turned her into a mobian. Sonic then begins to tear up, not sure what to believe about the whole ordeal and being so worried about her for so long.
