When I first imagined Key, she was going to be an immortal character - at least eventually. She would live throughout various ages and rule in different forms over different kingdoms. This idea has since been (mostly) scrapped in favor of attempting to create one story with an eventual ending - but I still sometimes like to revisit the idea, if only in "what if."

So! Here's one such example, where she wields her favorite dragonie staff with a new outfit I just love. I especially like how it drapes around her legs. <33 Brindle does amazing sketches and I've long loved the life she breathes into every art piece she does; I just can't describe how much I love her pose and expression here, the curve of the mouth and eyes and brow. Just, unf! So good.
