-SPOILER WARNING: Major spoilers for Darkness of Dragons discussed below. If you haven't read the book yet, proceed at your own risk.-
-Breed: Nightwing x Rainwing hybrid
-Sex: Male
-Age: Six years old (if he were a human he'd be about sixteen)
-Build: Thin and lanky. Closer in build to a Rainwing than a Nightwing.
-Distinct Features: Long narrow face, long semi-prehensile tail usually held in a loose curl, long spines on back, and extra spines in place of Rainwing ruff.
-Accessories: Red and white beaded necklace with a metal strawberry pendant, which was given to him as a gift by Truthseeker.
-Mother: Hope (Foeslayer)
-Romantic Interest: Truthseeker (my fan interpretation of Clearsight reincarnated, as well as the blacksmith from Moon's vision)
-Mentor: Orchid
-Clawmate: Cliff
-Close Friends: Moonwatcher, Kinkajou, Cliff, and Auklet.
-Residence: Rainforest Kingdom. Later Jade Mountain Academy.
-Abilities: Can breathe fire like a Nightwing, and grab and/or hold onto very light things with his semi-prehensile tail. He is also unbelievable gifted with just about every kind of plant imaginable.
-Occupation: Apprentice gardener, specializing in growing important medicinal herbs, and fruits and vegetables not native to the rainforest.
-Hobbies: Singing rather badly (much to Cliff's continuing dismay), weaving (which he is equally terrible at), and fishing (which he learns from Auklet). He will also occasionally bake and make jam, which he's gotten pretty good at after a bit of trial and error.
-Personality: Friendly, kind, hard-working, enthusiastic, passionate about his work, and seriously committed to his friends. However he also has a bit of Darkstalker's charm and sarcasm hidden just below the surface. His sarcasm is so subtle it tends to go over most dragons' heads. Without Darkstalker's powers he grew into a much less confident dragon, and can be surprisingly insecure about certain things. He has a tendency to bite his tongue rather than just say what he's thinking, and this can lead to him bottling up his emotions unnecessarily. He's good at putting on a happy face, though, and not even those closest to him know about the strange dreams which have plagued him for as long as he can remember. All in all, he's a shamelessly lovable little dork who it's hard not to fall in love with.
-Random Facts-
-Brought the first strawberry plants to the rainforest after a trip into the mountains with Moon and Kinkajou.
-Memories of being Darkstalker come to him in his dreams, though of course he doesn't know that's what they are.
-Has a bit of insecurity regarding the rainbow scales beneath his wings due to the other Nightwing dragonets teasing him about them when he was little.
-Worryingly enthusiastic about his work with plants to the point that it tends to concern the other dragons around him.
-Suffers from claustrophobia (subconsciously due to his time trapped in the cave during his previous life) and although he's made great strives in overcoming it over the years, he still gets nervous in cave-like, enclosed spaces. When he came to Jade Mountain Academy they had to set up his sleeping quarters in a cave with an opening in the roof in order for him to feel comfortable. Going to classes in the underground caves can be hard on him, and more than once he finds himself fighting back panic attacks.
Decided to put this together, not just for myself, but for other people as well. If you want to use this design for Peacemaker, feel free, just so long as you credit me. Obviously I recycled other pictures I've drawn of him to make this, because honestly I didn't want to commit the amount of time it would take to draw them from scratch. I'm still really happy with how it turned out, and was really excited to get to draw his necklace. The last few pictures didn't have it in there because it was either before he met Truthseeker or while he's in Darkstalker rage mode (during which he doesn't wear it).
