This page was certainly a learning experience as I'm still learning the ins and outs of layout design and setup for the city which To Dust, takes place in, Strandherd. I had initially planned a different page but I wanted to give a more establishing shot to make the cut from page 12 a little more subtle. That being said if you can recognize the reference in this page kudos!

Wait, what if he is faking death? For example, a scene from Sherlock Holmes.....*spoiler alert*
Where the villain fakes death to get people to lose attention. What if Quill is doing the same thing to lure out the killer. He knows his bf would go after him. Then when the killer isn't on guard, he comes back to catch him and explains the whole situation to his lover. That's my theory.

I'm just about tearing up here... maybe it's allergies? It hurts to see your characters who love each other get torn apart by a brutal murder. You implied that you would be telling more of the backstory as you go along, and I'm looking forward to that, because in the past, Quill will still be alive. And I'd be lying if I said the bedroom scene wasn't a huge turn-on.
My son has just changed his persona to a Welsh name that was going to be tricky to pronounce and remember, and oddly enough, it's close enough to Quill that I use Quill's name to remember Guilloc. Thanks! I'm sure you did it just for my sake! :D
