Her arms around me are a comfort. Her warmth just radiating. making it feel like i'm a toddler, huddled next to a heater after being in the snow after one too many hours. It's nice, having a safe place to be. Being next to someone i love so dear, it's nice. She's so peaceful as she sleeps, it's almost like she's taking a break, a break from it all. Letting all her worries melt away as her arms tighten around my waist. it's like she's finally getting what she wants, time from her problems. 'it's so wonderful' i think to myself as i take a drag from y cigarette. it's wonderful knowing everybody can find peace in chaos.
I wish i was apart of that. Maybe i will find peace one of these days, maybe i'll finally know what it's like to sleep without seeing the nightmares of my past tearing my mind to pieces. Maybe i'll finally have that day, where i can relax, be in peace. maybe, just maybe.
though we all know demons never rest, especially the demons who have a pat as black as ink. so maybe one day i'll find peace, but for now, the comfort of my love will do.

so this piece started out as vent art. but quickly turned into something else. Cor is accompanied by his ever so loving Girlfriend, (and hopefully wife lol. i ship this so haaaaaaaaaaaaaaard) as he finds peace in a chaotic world.
like i know what it looks like, (that probably did happen) but it started out as 'a smoke break from life' before it turned into this.
