In the earliest days of Lurid Rose's lifespan, she was little more then a body-less probe that observed the daily activities of Teela's life. Then, a super powerful engineered demi-God named Spike came to claim Teela as his wife. Only, he had to prove his superiority to win her heart. One of the residual effects of this forced control would lead to a challenge by a massive gang of rodents. Spike over-reacted and wound up slaying his beloved vixen during the battle. Not fully understanding the nature of her TriCylian body, he resurrected her into a new body. In essence, he didn't fish Teela from the failing goop that was her body. Instead, he nabbed the Lurid Probe and started her true life off as a clone to his beloved Teela.
Things went well. Spike saved his wife-to-be. He took her to all the touristy remote locations. They wined. They dined. They had great times. Then, he wanted more. So, Spike stole from the very constructs of the Universe to infuse a Magic Well into the very creation of his wife's new body. Thus, she was to be a queen over all the known realms of reality, itself.
One thing would go wrong, however. Teela's body never died. As she recovered and stepped out into the light in front of Spike, he...overreacted. It didn't take long for the feline demi-God to decide that his revived wife was an inferior clone and should be immediately destroyed.
Lurid did not know a lot about how to how to use her marriage gifts. Translocation was inside her limits and she fled from the enraged feline. With extreme feelings of betrayal and fear, Lurid would cast off her anthro form and live among the natural beasts and their typical forest environment.
Her adventures while being feral have gone mostly unspoken. Seems that she would pack up with an alpha male for a bit. That is, until Spike locates her and nearly destroys her, further pushing her need for safety and survival into some extreme measures. One where she pushes to become power hungry. One where she harbors a deep distrust of all males. One where she restructures herself into that dark queen with deeply seated issues.
Had she never been bothered by the vengeful demi-God and the other drama that circled about his life, Lurid may very well have remained just a simple changeling with no deeper desires then to roam freely as a wild beast. Running free in the grasslands and through the trees. Drinking freely from the flowing streams. Serving her small pack. And everything else it had entailed.

The part of the male wolf-fox hybrid is played by
Zetec_Klinthos , whom had no idea that this character may, some day, take on a small role in Plight.

Honestly, I do not know. And thank you.
This event quite literally happened nearly ten years ago. Lurid has since grown a whole lot in many ways. And the plot of Plight has gone even further. There's an entire war in progress that doesn't even involve the Dark Queen's character in the slightest.
What I do know is that this was an extremely dark time in her life. She was given freedom and shown a materialistic form of love and power. Only to have her lover turn on her in seconds. Fleeing for her life with her heart torn apart, she had nobody to turn to. No idea where to run to. A horrible thing to have to live with. In fact, I had commissioned a moment of this event about five years ago. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7826277/
What happens shortly after that was never known to me. I do know that she had a few weeks of freedom. At least, until her former lover learns of her whereabouts. There's a lot of drama about her place in everything. After all, she is this probe thing that is believed to be holding back a powerful strike from supreme beings that could destroy the whole planet with little more then a wish. Which keeps her former demi-God lover from outright killing her in the forest. Instead, she is captured to be used as a conduit to her overlords. Only an avenging angel has been secretly watching and sweeps in to free her from a life time of imprisonment.
It was a roller coaster of plot movements, intertwined with several other plots. However, I've always felt that there had to be something after escaping near death that eased her pain. Because what she eventually becomes may distrust males and demand authority, but she's rarely ruthless and has had some kind of past experience to set forth a vein of pure gold. Just never knew what it was. Something from with which to draw from in troubling times. Especially once that Love God, Fernando, has tricked her into defending a planet against an alien horde of destruction. It manages to wash clean her darkness and truly prepares her for a better life.

I'm going to open up a new chapter and insert the image. Write down a paragraph or two of notes. And then inspiration will need to happen.
Hard to say. I might add more next week or next year. It's a pretty self contained segment as she won't be talking about anything and mostly acting on the rebound. Won't be using any magic and will be getting into the feral way of thinking. Possibly need to view some K-9 Nature films. And no idea about when the chapter will be posted. After all, I've maybe posted 1 in every 20 chapters. Because there are way too many gaps to go with the consistency that I am aiming for. Plot points rely on one another too much to be too random.
The role seems easy enough. She'll be running about in the rural lands when your male character finds her. A bit of friendly courting and the small pack is formed. Location isn't specific, as her teleport spell can make anywhere possible. Though, she does take vengeance out on her former lover's fake forest after a bit. Which is apart of how she is found out.

And now that I am thinking about it, after the angel rescues her and they stay in that alternate realm for a few weeks, I bet she comes back to you. Her vision about the future will be altered and she won't be so driven to stay as a feral. She will keep getting away, teleporting to other lands and gaining a taste for magic before returning to you for a safe harbor. Eventually, she will leave for good. Thankfully, long before she learns how to create an entire sub-Universe and gains a taste for turning males to stone for easy management.
Yeah not a fan of Skype myself. I will just and you a link to my telegram in a note, that way you can add me when you are able to.
Thanks for respecting my character, and this is probably one of the moments he would be best suited for, especially once I get his new ref sheet, as he will have a feral form where his sole purpose is to help and care for those in need. His light form basically.

Did have a question. Would you prefer your character to be Lurid's Universe or another location.
I ask because her forest region has talking and non-talking animals. It's a world where the animals have civilization, technology and magic to a degree. But not all choose to be civilized members. (Civilians have laws in exchange for pack protection. Rural types take their chances and are at risk for predation. Though, being a wolf-fox hybrid leaves few threats, aside from the Humanoids.) Rural wanders exist in abundance. Some educated to a varying degree and others not.

Oh, I also wanted to point out that Zetec is not to be in, associated with, or doing, anything NSFW. So when they spend time together it will be solely for safe harbor and/or comfort since Zetec can be very caring and protective of those in need. Just wanted to point that out, so i hope that is okay.
It's quite alright. I can add the note in, now that I've figured out where all this sync's in. Plight is full of G and PG rated chapters and the overall plan is to make the whole story as friendly to that as possible. Lurid eventually becomes the leader in chapters marked XXX...at some later point. At that particular moment, she is really feeling vulnerable and afraid.
