Someone seems a little grumpy today, were you trying to cuddle Lucario again without permission?

Why don't I believe you?

Yes she is. I periodically browse their sites and see what is new. They make some pretty impressive stuff, as well as a few abominations. They need a SFW version of their site. =^^;
Overall she's holding up pretty well, but I will probably never take her to the beach for a true stress test. Would probably need to strap an outboard motor to her tail to get her around! =^^=

Yeah, I've looked at their stuff before. They really do have some really great stuff, and I really am interested in some of it. Plus a lot of it is much less expensive than PuffyPaws inflatables. I keep hearing about the color fading or chipping, though. Have you had that problem with any of yours? I'm really thinking about getting one of Hongyi's inflatables once me and family move into a house, so I'm curious about if there are any problems with them I should be nervous about, or if I really should buy one of their inflatables.
I would be took nervous and too shy to take her somewhere like the beach. I would be happy just enjoying her at home. :) Also, I couldn't help but laugh at the mental image of you cruising across the water on her back while she has an outboard motor strapped to her tail. :D Running out of gas would be a problem, though, since poffins and Pokepuffs don't seem to work as burnable fuel in mechanical motors or engines. :D

As far as Hongyi goes, I've found mileage may vary by application. I have a Goodra that was my first toy from them. It is the golden standard. Her look colors are perfect! Only after a year or so did one arm finally spring a slow leak. Other than that she has no visible signs of wear. Then to the flip side is my giant Rainbow Dash. The rainbow bits are flaking horribly, and the blue is starting to wear a bit in some places. Everything else varies in between. One note, being extremely paranoid about elastomer retention, the most these toys have been cleaned with is a warm damp cloth. I have seen no water solubility of the paint that others complained of. But a couple are showing signs of wear.
Air retention has been fine in all my toys. A couple odd seam leaks here and there, and the odd puncture but nothing a little MEK glue and small patches didn't easily fix.
The biggest advantages to Hongyi are spot orders. They build the toy in their own factory. You could order one, or one hundred and they have you covered. If it is an existing design, the price is reasonable, not cheap. A prototype new design will cost you $1000 plus the cost of the toy. If it already exists you can get it in a variety of sizes with minor mods if desired. I got a dragon with the wings removed, for instance. (Experience with a few other winged dragons, they are a pain...) I'm also famous for wanting specific valve positions. (I didn't know i could do that when I ordered my Goodra, otherwise I'd have changed a couple things there)
I want to say that three toys I got in the time frame of getting Dashie all had paint wear problems. Three toys I have ordered since then the paint issues seem to be fairly mitigated.
Inflatableworld makes some excellent pooltoys that are far less expensive than either PP or Hongyi. Their colors are permanent and the designs are great. But of the three I'd say they are the most fragile. The pinch seams demand reinforcement if they are going to get stressed.
Puffypaws has the highest caliber construction overall. My only complaint is that they make one toy every so many months, and if you miss it, tough. Trying to get one on ebay is a lesson in futility. The pre-orders will get you the best price.
On a final note: as Pileup here once mentioned. If you get a mostly white design, that will dodge the majority of the paint issues! (As you can see, the Huggle Critter I got is mostly white, and it is designed by Pileup.
Any other questions? =^^=
