Horst and Ewa. Hard working. Down to earth. Faded, like they are from Franklin's mind.
Escaped, as it were, through the crack in his skull, along with most of his childhood memories.
Obed Nesbith. Hare. General. Retired.
A southern gentleman determined to be the father Franklin was missing. Proud of his son.
We've met him in a previous story.
If you say you haven't met a mouse that was overbearing and brutal I say you haven't met a mouse with a badge and the entire New York Police Department at his disposal and I say true. I say you haven't met Blaine Bachman, and say thankyou for that and hope that you never do. Especially if you're a weasel.
Lucas Jamesson. That's detective Jamesson, but he often has to answer to "boy". Technically Lucas is on the side of the law and technically he ought to capture Franklin, but when you're the only fox on the force you must know that law and right are different things, and a creature that has gotten Bachman that mightily riled up can't be all bad, no sir.
Besides, have you tried to cuff a weasel? Lucas saw someone try to cuff Franklin and somehow get cuffed to their own squad car... which Franklin then pushed off the pier.
Don't try to cuff a weasel. At least not near piers. Lucas sure won't.
The mysterious feral creature of the shadows? Best left undescribed. Her goals presumably the same as the general's. Goes where he cannot. Does what he cannot. A team without them knowing of each other.
