Dear lord, after all this time I finally have a final design. It only took me, what, three years? Finally, I have something I'm proud to have to represent me as my sona. I know it looks like an angel dragon, however, there are key differences in the anatomy.
1) Whiskers
2) Fanned tail feathers
3) Unique muzzle. It took a lot of time to come up with the style, and it's actually a mixture of dragons, large cats, and sharks. Please be aware of this difference in form as I put a lot of time into this aspect of the design; it's not just another dragon!
4) Slightly longer body
5) Feline body proportions, closest to lions. This deviates from the equine related traits of the Angel Dragon.
6) No horns. The relationship to dragons is a bit distant, however present in the design of the skull and the idea of flight

These are the most notable differences, as I do want to allow him to stand out in terms of design, however still remain true to the already established design language of angel dragons. I don't want to cause any conflict with what's already out there, rather just create a new design that is actually personal, as I feel a representation of one's self should be.
If you took the time to read this I thank you. There has been a lot of effort put into the design through redrawing and redesigning to get where I am now. It might not seem like much with how it is presented, but I can say that there was a ridiculous amount of time spent on this project.
Now that I've finalized the design I suppose it'll need a name. Well how about a ridiculous name for a ridiculous species?
