When you've got this much hair, you don't need clothes!

To clarify a point, the hair in all of these pictures was not cut off her head to make the "clothes." Every strand is still connected to her scalp. (With the exception of the tail hair, of course.) It was a delightful challenge to not only come up with unique ways to wear hair as a garment, but also design outfits with the consideration that every strand needs to conceivably link back to her head.
I've been working on this sequence all summer. It was a blast from beginning to end, and I learned a trick or two about shading hair.

For all the crap I gave you while putting this one together, your coloring job in particular has me rather envious now! Super metallic hair/fur tones are a weakness of mine, and you've certainly picked up quite a knack for metallic textures during this sequence. I also liked the change in highlight color in the fourth page to suggest being under a different light. Your skills definitely make big jumps once you get inspired to learn. A few more fun projects like this and you could be ending the year a much, much stronger artist than you began it as. Yes, even in that short a timeframe, I think you could make some big leaps. It's just a matter of going out and claiming them.
