*Leona checks her surroundings and then tilts her head downward, tensing up...*

LEONA: Ulp! And it sure is a long way down, too!

*Leona blinks twice and shakes her head, looking back up...*

LEONA: But this is no time to be a fraidy-cat! I mustn't give up! I gotta get into Mr. Xion's room and find the whereabouts of "PLAN VHS."

*Leona continues to scale upward once again, one feet-paw at a time...*

LEONA: Sure hope I don't get caught.

*In a blind spot of the building, a camera lens zooms in and focuses in on the kunoichi climbing the wall with her rope; watching the monitor at the other end... is Tydrian Xion himself, chuckling softly to himself and smiling amusingly...*

TYDRIAN: I'm afraid it's too late for that, kitty. I see what you're up to; trying to sneak into my office and retrieve the contents of "PLAN VHS," the real-time experimentation of turning into an 80's cartoon rendition of yourself at will. Hm, hm, hm... Now that I'm aware of your little game and what you're after, you have no chance to appear as one.

*But just as quickly as he mutters that to himself, Tydrian blinks and pauses for a beat before doing a double-take at the monitor. Something about the way Leona looked seemed a little too familiar...*

TYDRIAN: Wait a sec... The girl is appearing as one! She's achieved that rendition already!? Before she even gets to my plans!? How did she do that!?

GAH, okay, I know I'm posting this like a week later, I'm friggin' terrible, , I'm so sorry! TwT

Still, one day last week, I was just commenting how cool that new style looked in that bondage picture where he tried out a look similar to the vintage Catillac Cats animation! And virtually a day later, he goes and surprises me with this!

I FRIGGIN' LOVE THIS SURPRISE!!!

Excellent lineart here; very smooth and almost wafer-thin! Superb job on the body structure; practically near-perfect to the vintage Catillac Cats style that he's replicating which is awesome! Even her feet-paws look super-cute here! Very fun pose he's got Leona in, having her carefully climb up the side of a building step-by-step while evidently gripping the rope tightly! Just like Adam West (may he R.I.P.)! lol Fantastic job on Leona's expression, giving her an uber-cute anime look that's topped off with a sweat-drop! Even her hairdo/mane - while akin to the sweet vintage cartoony style - still maintains a bit of its anime appeal that I just love! He also hit the nail on the head with all of Leona's colour palettes and markings! But the most impressive effect of all? You implemented - and flawlessly executed - a neat VHS-quality look using a number of CGI effects to the image to achieve the look! It's obviously a tiny bit blurry and grainy, but that's intentional; it's pretty much how VHS's and TV shows were like back in the day, and I love how it works so much here! It's almost like Leona was a guest-star in an episode here (like a fake screenshot or something [which, ironically, I tried doing with Leo just last week])!

FUN FACT: Now I've never watched Catillac Cats growing up, but I did often watch Inspector Gadget; both shows were animated by the same companies. But that's not even the interesting part! As himself explained to me...

One of the reasons that the Catillac Cats style maintains an anime look is because many of the episodes actually were outsourced and animated by Japanese studios. X3

Inspector Gadget was the same way, many of the episodes were anime. X3
