Ended up as kind of as an experiment between cell-shaded subjects, flat-colored subjects, and textured objects.
And as subtle as it may or may not be, I made Reynard's nose a bit bigger. I've seen that character trait found in other character designs and I found I like it if it's draw in a certain way, so I thought I might integrate it into Reynard's character, as so to make him look more homely and ungainly.
Also swirly tree.
Yes... I did forget Reynard's sleeve fringe.
