Thanks, but yes, the weather was really awfull, after their demonstration it began to rain heavily, it was so intense that even my leather jacket was soaked and my phone took the water and didn't handled it at all... But I'm not fully satisfied of this shot but given the circumstances, it's not that bad.
And yes, the paint scheme for the Rafale Solo Display this year is very beautiful, with just an exeption on the tailfin were it looked a bit rushed but otherwise it's very good. Here's a better picture of it: https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4197/.....2f709571_o.jpg , I should post a photo of its underside in a near future.

Yes, in France, every aircraft has a registration, even the military ones. But, on the contrary of the UK, registration in France gives a clue of the type of the aircraft. The thing is that the registration is very rarely diplayed entirely on military aircrafts and there're often only the two last letters that are displayed on the sides, within the code. At my knowledge, the most easy to know their registrations are the helicopters, as they have three letters displayed, the TB-30 Epsilons, the Patrouille de France Alphajets and the GROB 120.
Registration are classed as such:
F-Axxx : Aircrafts registered before 1940
F-AZxx and F-AYxx : Collection aircratfs
F-Bxxx : Civil aircrafts in mainland France regitered before1975
F-Cxxx : Gliders
F-Gxxx : Civil aircrafts in mainland France registered before 1989
F-Hxxx : Civil aircrafts in mainland France registered after 1989
F-Jxxx : ULM
F-Mxxx : ALAT (French Army Light Aviation) aircrafts
F-MJxx : French Gendarmerie aircrafts
F-Oxxx : Civil aircrafts registered outside of the mainland France
F-Pxxx : Homebuilt aircrafts
F-Rxxx, F-Sxxx, F-Txxx and F-Uxxx : French Air Force aircrafts
F-Wxxx : Temporary registration for prototypes and aircrafts in tests
F-Xxxx and F-Yxxx : French Navy Aviation aircrafts
F-Zxxx : DGAC (French equivalent to the FAA)
F-ZBAA to F-ZBLZ : French customs
F-ZBMA to F-ZBZZ : Sécurité Civile
