Character's story in book so sad and painfully terrible, and it used to make me nearly cry sometimes. And... oh... I just would like to see some happy moments for him. And idea of this art came into my head.
PS: I really don't like "canonic" Gabrelle. Because, in my humble opinion, her most honest emotion is lust. Lust as pleasant complement to her manipulation games. She tried to manipulate until the end. And it's hardly to make a good impression. More likely it's another misfortune for Logain. So, we used my OC.
