i love the feel of this so much; it reminds me of a mix between vintage illustration and that really nice thurop van orman-ish nautical style. and yeah, ttly jealous of whale lamp ;; <3
i love thurop omigawsh (his sketches on DA made me happy as a little extra to his wonderful show)
the color scheme really comes from the fact thaaat ive been playing way too much layton and the curious village and that has this warmish muted tone thing going on
