It's a nice start to a story (though I noticed a few gramatical errors in places that could use adjusting), but it doesn't really go anywhere. As an intro to a series it's good, just not so much so as a stand-alone story.
Still, it's nice to just see new stuf from your direction. I hope to see more soon.
