This is a redraw of something I did for my daily drawing challenge (which you can see on my DeviantArt).
This little guy's name is Moss. He was a Leafeon I got in my first randomised game and first Nuzlocke, in Pokemon Black. Here's why he was so special:
1. Actually good stats, for a start. Leafeon isn't good in competitive play, but it has pretty good Speed, great Attack, and AMAZING Defense.
2. He was randomised to learn Power Whip, the strongest physical Grass-type move, which Leafeon can't get normally.
3. He also got Horn Leech, so he could heal himself while attacking (the only physical Grass move that does that).
4. His randomised special Ability was Bad Dreams, normally exclusive to Darkrai, meaning a sleeping foe would take damage at the end of every turn.
5. He also learned Spore, THE ONLY 100% ACCURATE SLEEP-INDUCING MOVE.
Put all that together (and give him Fly for good measure), and you've got a pretty amazing Leafeon. He could put his foes to sleep, which would automatically hurt them even if he didn't attack, then deal out heavy damage AND heal himself. But he didn't need any of that to be able to take super-effective physical moves like a CHAMP, which he did on several occasions.
Anyway, now for the picture. I got the idea of drawing him in a hoodie from somewhere, then eventually did it for a daily drawing. You may notice that he looks remarkably similar to how he did in that. Well, I mostly traced the original drawing because it was actually good enough to do that. I tweaked a few tiny details, and the only parts I properly changed were the slightly wonky front paw and the eye, which was the wrong type of eye before.
And oh boy, do I love this design! I've actually drawn him again several times already, and they're definitely getting uploaded. I just love the way the curly head leaf goes over his eye like hair. And four-legged critters look adorable in hoodies. I'm actually not a big fan of Leafeon's design (it was actually my least favourite Eeveelution before I got Moss), but I think it's one of those Pokemon that looks much better in fanart.
