*blush* eheheee... so yes, I'm feeling a smidge of bravery tonight and figured, why the heck not share some of my original characters with you fine folks? I can't really classify these guys as "furries" -- they're much more like funny animal comics ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Funny_animal). But, holy man, do I love them all to absolute BITS and PIECES <3<3<3 I really need to sit down and commit to writing out proper introductions/backstories for each, but tonight I'll just slap up a little blurb about each.
From L-R:
Wepwawet. Jackal god from Egypt. The "gentle giant" of the group. Far less known than his uncle, Anubis, Wepwawet met Ahool and joined him on his travels over the ocean.
Ahool. A bat spirit of the forest, hailing from Indonesia. Sarcastic but good-natured, Ahool wants to learn about the other peoples of the world outside his native Java. Somehow his wandering takes him across the sea to the precolumbian Americas.
Ixtli, A young holy man from mesoamerican culture. As a child, Ixtli lost his home, family and much of his village to raiders. A neighboring city adopted the few refugees and he grew into a strong and kind adult. At around 25 years of age he resolved to follow Raven as his faithful servant. His name means "face/eyes" in Nahuatl.
Raven. The de facto leader of the group. A magical corvid and beloved god to the groups of North America and the First Nation peoples. Raven wanders from tribe to tribe, sharing his stories, magic, and tricks. After traveling south of Rio Grande he happened upon a prosperous and friendly city where he met Ixtli. Thick as thieves, the two make their way all over the landscape to see new places.
And yeah....my babies >^_^< <3 Actually their is one more character to round out the main cast, plus a few more characters who feature in the background, but I'll just do these guys for now. Thanks a WHOLE BUNCH for taking the time to read about my babs. These goofs mean just about the whole world to me, especially my Ixtli...I'm so smitten with him >^____^< oi! Fangirl blabber!
!!!!BIG THANKS FOR ALL FAVS!!!!

Gosh that's sooo kind of you! >^_^< I really appreciate your kind words for my character! That makes me feel really good - you just made my night, heee >^_^<
Ah! His markings are loosely based on First Nations-style art. Really lovely and definitely worth researching, imo >^_^<
