The republican basement lay deep within Rotu Forest. Both moons of Zhero were hidden behind thick black clouds, the giant trees casting huge shadows on the ground, swallowing the last bits of residual light.
There was no wind at all, the air perfectly still and cold. The only sound heard was the rain pouring down tirelessly onto the leaves as the sharp hissing sound of two silhouettes, pierced the dark night’s air like bullets. Nimbly they jumped from tree to tree until the basement came into sight.
Stopping his advance, the bigger figure landed quietly on a huge branch, boot soles squeezing water from the wet moss growing on the trees bark. He could not give his master any inclination into what he was thinking. Being trained for this day for years, he finally felt ready for his revenge.
“Good”, Sin replied and tilted his head towards a entrance of the basement on the left side.
Blue light emitting from a dome-shaped structure, implied that it was a starship port, protected by a shield.
Master and apprentice continued their tree jumping, as silent and dangerous as owls at nighttime. As they reached the tree next to the port, Sin stopped once again:
“Wait!”
Petrol came to a halt, looking at Sin in confusion.
“There is a automated perimeter turret over there.”
Petrol followed the direction of his master's gaze, eyes narrowing to identify the turrets silhouette. The darkness and rain obscuring his vision made it hard to recognize.
The turret was positioned about fifty feet away on a platform of a security tower higher up, ready to shoot any intruder that forcefully tried to gain entrance.
“You destroy it. I will bring the shield down.” [...]

“Ignore them - they will become stubborn.
Insult them - they will become angry.
But giving them a feeling of not being valued is different. Because it will break them.”
