Found this little guy hanging around on the overhang of our porch a couple days ago. I apologize for the weird shadowing effect, as this wasn't taken at night, but I've been trying to learn how to manipulate contrast, brightness, and midtones. Still, it's a fairly clear picture, I should hope.

Common stick insects like this are always female, and can reproduce via parthenogenesis.
