Notes on rarity
The common to rare notes are there to help creating a believable individual of the species. It's safe to pick ~2 uncommon
features or 1 rare feature to a character. ALL COLOURS ARE POSSIBLE.
Iridescence
This is a material that contains more than one colour, it looks to be different from another angle. These colours can be just two, three or a wider spectrum. Important to note, you cannot choose two colours of different ends in the colour circle without creating in between colours as well.
About markings
Common Luceiry dragons can have markings, which means they have two different iridescent colours present in the form of splotches, stripes or spots, the markings can also change in a gradient style. Pay attention to the chest plating: it's a part of the scales and should be the same colour unless a marking interferes it. It simply appears brighter/more colourful because of large scales.
About the colour examples
Each one of these could have other colours, they're not set, just examples!
Two-tone - Two distinguishable colours are present, their saturation and lightness can vary.
3-tone - Three distinguishable colours are seen, usually two of which are more prominent and third colour which is between those two in the colour wheel.
Shade shift - Almost like its just one colour and darker variants of it, but there is always a few closeby hues apparent. Shifts either to almost black or pastel colours.
Black to Colour - This is somewhat more uncommon, the iridescence is between black and a colour instead of two colours.
White to Colour - Same with the black to colour, a more uncommon colouring, gray to colour would also be one of these.
Tar Rainbow - Very rare pattern shows all the colours on a black base, another rare pattern would be Crystal rainbow, a variant with white base.

BUT WAIT, HOW DOES ANYONE EVEN DRAW THIS CRAZY?
Here's a tutorial for shade shift style - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/21443780/
Other styles you basically airbrush the scales and/or the base and hope it looks good.
Now go give nightmares to all the artists!
