This one I did finish. The second part of that series "Describing a character through their surroundings" I did like a year ago.
Let me know if you can glean anything of Masha from this cause I'd love to hear it.

I guess she doesn't spend much time at home or maybe just don't care about cleaning.
Also looking on the second picture of her room I assume she has younger brother? And she's russian.
Maybe a teen or a student that left/live alone?
Ah, I'm curious now. Would love to know more about it haha

I am guessing Masha picks up new hobbies very quickly but abandons them just as fast. Masha has a kid or a younger relative who is very important to them. They spend little time at home or don't care about tidying up; I might guess that Masha is in the middle of a breakup if I had to stretch it, and that's why there are visible ashtrays in both illustrations loaded with butts. I infer a hopefulness or resolution by the sliver of light, but maybe I'm projecting.
Anyway. This is really cool and the composition of thick lines vs. thin lines is jarring and effective.

Oh man, i think you got pretty much all of it in one. Dang. I wasn't sure if the way I painted this would allow the details to be very clear, but you seemed to pick up on it (like the ash trays, and the hobby items). I wouldn't say its a break up as much as an ongoing series of unsustainable relations, but I'm really (pleasantly) surprised you managed to glean what you did from what I've got. Also thank you, I was doing a lot of experimenting and trial and error with it since I don't do very many background-centric pieces.
Ahh! I'm pleased I got to pick your brain a little bit. Your hints are subtle. It makes me want to dust off my tablet and try one of these. I don't want to sound like I'm just sucking your dick for the sake of sucking your dick but you've got a legitimate talent and an eye for composition.
