Y'all are good guessers for the video game I used, yep. It's all The Witcher! I love current gen graphics. Makes for some fun studies, and you can fix things you feel the game rendered wrong. (some rendering issues are easy to spot). I'm itching to get more video games that render environments well, but they're hard to find. so much brown out there :@

These are all super cool! Really great work!
For other games, (I recommended one of these on twitter already I think,) but here's a couple of games that I remember having beautiful backgrounds in them!
The Talos Principle. It's a puzzle exploration game, and the level design is really beautiful in some places (I need to go back through and get more screenshots of the different areas):

Shadow Warrior 2, a run and gun shooter with some absurd built in camera functions that let you take screenshots like this (The game itself has fun gameplay, but a lot of problematic characters and jokes):
I spent a lot of time in the screenshot tool so here's a gallery: https://imgur.com/a/GK6oo

Y'know, for all the negative feedback the game received, No Man's Sky could be a great game for studies and art inspiration. It's rather slow-paced and meditative, has a screenshot mode, and renders beautiful scenery in a wide range of colors, if you're in the mood for something a little different.
It's actually pretty good, as long as you know what to expect. I bought it back when it was released and played it for some 20 hours or so and eventually lost interest as there wasn't enough unique content and gameplay depth. They've added several major content patches since then, such as planetary vehicles and base building. I wouldn't recommend buying it at full price, but if you can pick it up at a discount it might be worth it, if only for the atmosphere and art direction.
