...is lurking out in the pumpkin patch. ;)

Another piece commissioned by of their plant-cobra (NOT a Naga) character Vicky - this time she's posing for the month of October in a pumpkin patch, with something sinister on her mind.

I tried a new shading technique with this where I did the whole piece in blue first, and then layered the color on top. (You can see WIP shots on my Facebook page.) It was mostly effective though I think the orange and red pulled a lot of it out, and I had to darken it quite a bit after scanning to give it that shadowy, nighttime look I wanted. I also pulled in some lens flairs in the eyes just for glowy fun. I probably rely on that trick way too much but oh well. >u<
