That's pretty accurate. Keep in mind that sexuality is not merely a trichotomy of just gay, straight, and bisexual, nor is it inflexible. Sexuality has had people guessing for centuries, and we're still very much in the dark about it.

Hell, I've questioned my own sexuality as of late and I've been one of those "I'm gay and there's nothing that will ever change that" sort of guy for years. Mind you, I do find it hard to believe that people would completely stop liking what they'd liked for years (i.e. I don't buy into the whole "Welcome Back Home"/ex-gay religious crap), but I certainly think it's possible to develop a liking for another sex, perhaps.

I just can't help but shake my head a bit every time I run across people who don't seem to understand the simple definitions of sexuality and related terms.

It's pretty true. Then again, we have the whole social practice of associating love with sex, despite them being in two completely different realms of human experience. Sexuality and emotional closeness are (or at least should be) two different things, we're just trained from a young age to associate the two.

That's why men have a hard time enunciating emotional connection to other men, it's associated with sex, and is therefore (in society's eyes) gay.

This is by far one of the best rants-turned-comic on sexuality I've ever seen. ^_^ I agree completely, sexuality and emotionality are two completely separate--albeit socially connected--entities of the human experience. I love tons of girls, but I don't fuck them. Equally, there's tons of guys I wouldn't mind fucking but I don't love, lol.

XD I've always know how it worked, so really, I'm basically a lesbian. Used to be bi, but now, guys just don't look appealing. Sure, they let you have kids. No other real purpose. But I always knew how it worked, I feel sorry for whoever didn't.
