A while back, a coworker of mine was telling me about a Star Wars game he had recently started playing on his XBox. He tried to garner my interest by telling me about the little "Dino guys" he was constantly fighting.
He went on to describe them as "human-sized", "Dinosaur guys", who were also pirates.

I eventually learned he was referring to Trandoshans, but the idea of Dinosaur Space Pirates had already generated this in my mind, and onto sketchpad.
