My Anime Expo Memories (Plus a little reflecting)
So Anime Expo '09 was my first convention EVER....like for ANYTHING. Too bad I could only go one day. :( The artists alley was very inspiring and I'd really like to get in on that next year! :3 Sorry for the crappy quality iPhone pics. These are just the favorite few that I took...
Now, *ahem*!
1: I think it's eyes were little salad bowls...
2: This person had to be sweltering...with all the warm bodies everywhere it was so stuffy!
3: These guys were creepy. Just flowing silently along the hall... awesome haha.
4: Omg...Just turning around and seeing Noface there was really unnerving haha. Awesome costume.
5: Aww, what an adorable lil Pyramid Head girl :3
6: Yes, he's holding a "Jill Sandwich" :V :V :V
7: We were informed that this person was dressed as a "summoning stone" from WoW :B
8: Best costumes there. Hands down.
9: These costumes were lovely <3 Always did love Riku and Lulu.
10: An adorable Dejiko-chan :3
11 & 12: Yes...Kel Mitchell. He was a pretty cool dude. He was there promoting some new art markers (Touch Markers) for some reason haha. Poor guy must be desperate for work. :B The girl in the blue wig is my friend Liana :3
Last week was one of the best vacations I've had in a long time, and I just want to thank all of my commissioners for making it all possible, and for being patient with me. <3 I participated in a VERY fun audition, and even though I got rejected it was still awesome and I got interviewed by the TV Guide channel and I'll TOTALLY do it all again next year....we went to see a Dodger's game where I got the worst, bubbly, blistery sunburn of my life (still dealing with it, finally starting to peel haha), went to Huntington Beach where it was so windy the seagulls could only hover in place, and I had the first fish I've ever really liked besides tuna (macadamia encrusted mahi mahi, omg so good), had motherfucking PINK'S chilidog which was the best chilidog I've EVER had. Pink's is totally worth waiting in line...it's constantly wrapped all the way around the building! Aaaand of course, met up with my buddy and went to Anime Expo.
