Meet Twisty, the Goblin Masta' Demolist [in human language: Goblin Master Demolitionist (but that last one is too hard for Goblins to say)
He became a master in explosive art after outliving his colleagues by either incredible luck or some divine favour.
The only guy to blow himself up and come out completely unfazed.
Twisty (In original language: Skrętek [polish]) was an non-player character created by my friend during one of our Dungeons and Dragons campaign as a comedic relief (most of that certain friend campaign had a comedic side to it other than keeping players being incredibly poor leading to some bizarre situations). And since this was a gag character it was almost impossible to kill. He himself kept a barrel of explosives on his back and in "desperate" attempt to defeat the enemies blew himself up in front of his adversary while coming out of the blast unscathed (Oh that improved dodge mechanics!)
Other than that he was helpful to the party even though goblins are usually on bad terms with everyone else. And the PC treated him as with some dose of reserve (although still seeing him as a vermin).
And Twisty never died. Even after years of not playing any tabletop everyone of the group remember hims to this day. And I myself wonder if my friend still has his NPC character sheet. That would be surely a great thing to have.
So here is my illustration of how Twisty might have looked like with a bit of a twist. Definitely not a careful type of a person.
