Shortly before the movie was made, my best friend introduced me into the Titanic legend. I of course had heard of the ship and it's epitomous disaster, but his enthusiasm for it's history infected me and I fell into it as well.

While the movie (at least in my mind) was a colossal disappointment, it nevertheless created a surge of material regarding the actual ship and her unfortunate run-in with a chunk of ice.

I drew a lot of layouts of Titanic (with the help of a blueprint of course). This is one of those many sketches.
