An Alien invasion on a scale of which the plumbers had never seen before had befallen earth. After a week of grueling and intense combat, the valiant defenders proved insufficient at holding back the menace, and were soon overrun. Ben and Gwen, at the forefront of the fight, were captured and taken to the commander’s ship while the rest of humanity was being enslaved. With such a powerful force defeated, the Commander was sure he needed a trophy to commemorate it, and what better than earth’s greatest warriors? Placed in suspended animation, the two would sit back to back, trapped in halted time, a trophy to the burgeoning development of this new empire and its subjugation of the human race.


Thousands of years had passed, the Earth now barely resembling what it once did. Life on it was diverse, full of thousands of sentient species, …except humans, who had gone extinct long ago. The only trace left of them now sat in the museum of Planetary history, still preserved in the suspended animation they were placed in thousands of years ago. The specimens actual names had been lost over time, they are remembered only by their scientific titles: "Benogonus" and "Gwentyrus". Sitting in the center of the hall of Humanity, along with other relics of their forgotten time; on display to give a stronger understanding of the original rulers of the planet, to try and learn from their mistakes, and hopefully one day develop the technology to return the species from extinction. the end.
