There's one I'll be uploading in a minute which I actually finished before this, but I'm uploading this one first because it flows better.

I've been experimenting with using GIMP (mainly because the only other way I can show pictures is with my old phone's camera, and, as most of you have seen already, the quality of that is just horrible), colouring and shading techniques. There's another version of this where I was experimenting with texturing the jeans, and I might upload that soon.

Lacerta was seperated from his clutch of eggs before he hatched, and so never really knew his real family. He took a life to himself, growing up mostly secluded, not particularly enjoying the company of other children. Raised by two strange creatures, a large lizard named Lacerta, himself, who Lacey took his own name from (he was known simply as 'Croc' until then), who was obsessed with anything scientific, mostly biology, and a dragon called Draco, quiet and wise, Lacey's ideal father-figure. At the age of fifteen, Lacerta decided to head out on his own from the quiet life of the nile to persue a living in the city.
Lacey's made something of a name for himself over the last year. No one really knows quite where he came from (he can't even seem to remember much, himself), but they do know that they want him to stay. He can't help but want to help with whatever problems people might be having, regardless of his own issues, which makes him something of an asset but also a worry to his friends when he'll often disregard himself for someone else, or occasionally intrude on a problem that might not be his place to fix. In his free time, he enjoys writing motivational songs, playing his guitar or keyboard, thinking up quotes which might help people (and possibly become famous) and playing Rock Band.
