Nobody on the plane of Adastra knows Ceos' as it's creator, and he doesn't see himself that way either. And so the planeswalker often travels his world, his peacefull sanctuary, and watches over all it's inhabitants without them even knowing his nameIf you would ask him, the leonin would humbly tell you that he only planted the seed and let the world grow under the protective light of the stars he wove around it.
The leonines of this world call their god Adasan and they often describe him as a shining knight who ignited the stars to drive off the darkness. Their capital is named after their god and is placed on the big cliff at the shores of the mirror sea under the protective wings of the marble sentinel they call Hearon.
The cat people don't know how the giant gargoyle came into being, since he always had been their and the garden city Adasan was created at his feet, but they believe he will come to life whenever a great threat approches the capital and that he then will restore peace and order in the name of the divine knight.
At the annual dawn of Adastra however many people gather at the feet of the gargoyle as his wings are the first the light of the sun touches and during the great feast many glasses and songs rise in his name and many poetries and paintings of the leonines honor their silent protector.
And I finally fixed that arm too
A little journey and look into Adastra, coming along with this little illustration and design overhaul for Ceos himself. In the back you can see the capital Adasan and the massive gargoyle Hearon.
As always I appreciate any kind of feedback. This pic took me some time to finish and I want to know if it was worth it.

huh, no wasn't feedback, just observation of the size and composition of the statue.
realistically its an impossible feat obviously possible only by magic. its size alone is safe and nicely impressive. what's scary is the wings as without magic for support, would/can easily just fall onto the city below.
just a realism and fantasy hybrid'ing detail note is all ^^; its a nice picture and i'm curious on the tower on bottom right of the image.

Ah I see, well I kinda ignored the realism for that since you probably can't get very realistic with a giant gargoyle that comes to life when the City is threatened, so magic is kinda always included ^^ but thanks a lot for the heads up. But you can be sure, that his wings won't break off and destroyed the city.
Btw the little tower is a lighthouse for the ships. There is only one dawn per year on Adastra, so you can imagine that something like this is pretty needed^^
